BDI Screenprinting terms of business

General:

1: All business conducted by and with BDI shall be subject to all terms and conditions herein, except where any variation is previously agreed in writing.
2: Terms and conditions apply to every contract and every customer and all quotations are made and orders are accepted on and subject to those terms.
3: BDI shall accept no liability for any defects in goods supplied to us and not manufactured by us.
4: A 1% wastage is to be considered acceptable, and no reimbursement will be made on supplied goods within this parameter.

Payment:

1: Prices for our services are as stated in our current pricelist, (excluding VAT). BDI reserves the right for these prices to change at any time.
2: VAT plus any other charges will be itemized on invoices.
3: Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
4: If BDI is culpable for damage of goods outside of the 1% parameter, a credit note can be arranged, payment for the job must still be made.

Order specifications:

1: All goods supplied are subject to availability from our suppliers.
2: Garment sizes are approximate and useable as a guide only.
3: If an order is cancelled after work has begun the customer will be invoiced for all work done and any expenses incurred up to that time.

Quotations:

1: Although BDI will endeavour to be accurate, a quote is not a contractual agreement, and some reasonable variation may occur.
2: Any change in specifications from the client will render the quote void.

Turnaround:

1: BDI will endeavour to maintain a turnaround time of two weeks from receipt of print ready artwork or confirmation of order, (whichever comes last), on orders of 500 or less.
2: Larger orders or busy periods may result in extended turnaround.
3: BDI will endeavour to meet shorter deadlines, when the client is in need of a hurried order. All standards of practise will be maintained but such ‘rush-jobs’ are undertaken at the clients risk.

Delivery:

1: BDI cannot accept liability for errors, delays and/or damage caused by delivery companies.
2: If goods need to be collected or delivered in more than one consignment, BDI reserves the right to invoice accordingly.
3: It is the responsibility of the client to check condition of goods on receipt or collection. Any issues must be raised immediately, (within 24 hours of receipt), and failure to do so will be understood as full acceptance of the job. BDI will not accept returned jobs unless immediate notification was given.
4: A non-delivery must be reported within 48 hours.

Artwork:

1: All design work, proofing, set-up, rendering and sampling will be charged for at the rate stated in our current price list.
2: Once artwork is approved by the client we accept no responsibility for errors/ typos and losses incurred thereby.
3: In the event that a sample/ proof has not been requested, or if an order is made necessitating a shortened turnaround time, and no sampling is possible through no fault of ours, such orders are produced solely at the clients risk.
4: Screens, set ups, acetates and samples remain the property of BDI.
5: BDI will respect the copyright of all original artwork supplied. Artwork produced by and/or on behalf of BDI shall remain the property of BDI.
